2019–20 Bolton Wanderers F.C. Season
The 2019–20 season was Bolton Wanderers' first season back in League One following their relegation last season from the Championship. Along with the league the club also participated in the FA Cup, EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy. The season covered the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020. Bolton Wanderers F
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish people, Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Edwin Davies
Eddie Davies (18 June 1946 – 11 September 2018) was a British businessman and philanthropist. He served as chairman of the Strix Group from 1984 to 2006. He was the owner of Bolton Wanderers F.C. until March 2016, when Dean Holdsworth fronted a consortium to take over the club. The Eddie and Susan Davies Galleries at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London are named in his honour. Administration (British Football)
In the United Kingdom, football clubs sometimes choose to enter administration (sanction) when they are unable to pay off outstanding debts. The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) is the trade union for professional association footballers in England and Wales. Christian Doidge
Christian Rhys Doidge (born 25 August 1992) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for club Hibernian as a striker. Doidge played in the youth systems of Southampton and Bristol Rovers, but temporarily gave up football and played basketball for the Wales U18 national team. He resumed his football career in the Welsh leagues with Cwmbran Celtic, Croesyceiliog, Barry Town and Carmarthen Town. He then moved into English league football with Dagenham & Redbridge, and then played for Forest Green Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
