2019–20 Arkansas State Red Wolves Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Arkansas State Red Wolves men's basketball team represented Arkansas State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Wolves, led by third-year head coach Mike Balado, played their home games at the First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Arkansas as members of the Sun Belt Conference. They finished the season 16–16, 8–12 in Sun Belt play to finish in a three-way tie for eighth place. As the No. 9 seed in the Sun Belt tournament, they lost in the first round to Louisiana. Harding Bisons
The Harding Bisons are the athletic teams that represent Harding University, located in Searcy, Arkansas, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Bisons compete as members of the Great American Conference for all 16 varsity sports. Harding began in the Gulf South Conference in 2000 before moving to the newly formed Great American Conference (GAC) in 2011. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Rankings
Two human polls made up the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball rankings, the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll, in addition to various publications' preseason polls. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season ended March 12, 2020. As a result, the NCAA did not bestow a national championship. Instead, that title was de facto bestowed by one or more different polling agencies. There were two main weekly polls that began in the preseason—the AP Poll and the Coaches' Poll. Kansas, while having not officially made a claim, finished first in both polls. While the program recognised the Helms Athletic Foundation mythical national championship rankings for the 1921-22 and 1922-23 seasons as national championships, this team has yet to be recognised.
