The 2019 Women's Asian Individual Squash Championships is the women's edition of the 2019 Asian Individual Squash Championships, which serves as the individual Asian championship for squash players. The event took place at National Squash Centre in Kuala Lumpur from 1 to 5 May 2019. Wu Yi-chen (; born 23 April 1970) is a Taiwanese lawyer and politician. Early life She was born Wu Mei-hui and attended National Taiwan University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in law before obtaining an LL.M from National Chiao Tung University. Prior to serving on the Legislative Yuan, Wu was leader of the Taipei Association for the Promotion of Women's Rights. She achieved her highest career PSA world ranking of 127 in January 2018 during the 2017-18 PSA World Tour.
