The 2019 USL League Two season is the 25th season of what was formerly the Premier Development League, and the first under the new brand. The regular season started on May 3 and ended on July 14. The Flint City Bucks won the final championship, having defeated Reading United AC 1–0 in extra time. Changes from 2018 New teams A total of 12 new member clubs join League Two for the 2019 season. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ventura County Fusion are the current champions, having defeated Long Island Rough Riders 2–1 in the 2022 USL League Two Championship game on August 6, 2022. Competition format USL League Two is divided into 4 conferences (Eastern, Central, Southern, and Western), comprising 16 divisions. The league season runs from May through July, with the playoffs decided through July and August. Northern Virginia FC (formerly Northern Virginia Royals and Evergreen FC) is an American soccer club from Leesburg, Virginia competing in USL League Two, USL W League, Eastern Premier Soccer League and the Major Arena Soccer League 3. 2020 USL League Two Season
The 2020 USL League Two season was to have been the 26th season of the USL League Two, the top pre-professional soccer league in the United States, since its establishment in 1995. Flint City Bucks were the defending champions after defeating Reading United in the National Championship the previous season. The regular season was scheduled to start on May 3 and conclude on July 17. There would have been a record of 81 teams participating in this season. On April 30, 2020 the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2018 Premier Development League season was the 24th season of the PDL, and the last under the PDL name. The regular season started on May 4 and ended on July 16. Calgary Foothills FC won the final championship under the PDL branding, having defeated Reading United AC 4–2 in extra time in the Championship game on August 4, 2018. FC Manitoba is a Canadian soccer team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada that plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the United States soccer league system. West Virginia United (formerly West Virginia Chaos and West Virginia Alliance FC) is an American association football, soccer team based in Charleston, West Virginia. Founded in 2003, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. Manhattan Soccer Club was formed in 1997 as an aspirational splinter of a recreational soccer league on NYC's Upper West Side. Black Rock FC
Black Rock FC is an American soccer club that plays in USL League Two. The team's administrative base is in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. History The club was established in 2013 to develop Berkshire County players and prep school athletes of all ages from grassroots programs through its U19 Academy team.
