The 2019 Turkmenistan Cup ( tk, Türkmenistanyň Kubogy 2019) is the 26th season of the Turkmenistan Cup knockout tournament. The cup winner qualifies for the 2020 AFC Cup. The draw of the tournament was held on 6 July 2019. The competition started on 27 July 2019 and finished on 14 December 2019. The final match was played at the Nusaý Stadium in Ashgabat. First round First leg The first leg match will be played on 27 July 2019. Second leg The second leg match will be played on 31 July 2019. Quarter-finals First legs First legs were played on 13 and 15 August 2019. Second legs Second legs were played on 18 September 2019. Semi-finals First legs First legs were played on 2 November 2019. Ahal FK
Ahal Änew Football Club ( tk, Ahal Änew Futbol Kluby), or simply Ahal FC, is a Turkmen professional association football club based in the Änew, Ahal Province. Founded in 1989, the club played its first-ever top flight season in 1992. The club plays its home matches at the 20,000 seater Ashgabat Stadium. Ashgabat Stadium
The Ashgabat Stadium ( tk, Aşgabat stadiony) is a multi-purpose stadium in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is currently used mostly for celebrations and football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people and was built in 2011. History In 2009, on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow allocated funding for construction of a multipurpose stadium for events by 20 thousand seats. Mekan Saparov ( tk, Mekan Meredowiç Saparow; born 22 April 1994) is a Turkmen footballer who plays for Turkmen club FC Altyn Asyr. He was part of the Turkmenistan national team from 2014.
