The 2019 Swedish Golf Tour was the 36th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, the main professional golf tour in Sweden since it was formed in 1984, with most tournaments being incorporated into the Nordic Golf League since 1999. Åke Nilsson (born 22 May 1982) is a Swedish professional golfer and former European Tour player. As of 2022, he topped the list of most wins on the Nordic Golf League, with 8 victories. Early life Nilsson was born in Kristianstad and has represented Kristianstad Golf Club. He chose not to follow his two older brothers to America on a golf scholarship, instead staying at home and turning professional in 2002, aged 20. Haraldur Franklín Magnús (born 16 March 1991) is an Icelandic professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour. He participated in the 2018 Open Championship, becoming the first Icelandic golfer to compete in a men's major golf championship. Niklas Nørgaard Møller (born 31 May 1992) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career Møller was part of the Danish National Team and played in the 2014 Eisenhower Trophy in Japan. He appeared in the European Amateur Team Championship three times between 2013 and 2015, collecting a silver medal in 2015 at Halmstad Golf Club, after losing the final to Scotland. Mikael Johan Lindberg (born 12 January 1993) is a Swedish professional golfer and European Tour player. He won the 2022 Indoor Golf Group Challenge. The Swedish Golf Tour Final, currently titled as The No. 1 Tour Final in Golf, is a golf tournament played as the season-ending championship of the Swedish Golf Tour. The Tour Final was introduced in the 2005 season, succeeding the Telia Grand Prix, a Challenge Tour event that had served as the season ending event for most years since 1996. The Swedish Match Play Championship is a golf tournament played since 1904, held for both men and women. It is the oldest and most traditional golf tournament in Sweden. The name SM is shortening in Swedish language for "Svenska Mästerskapet" (the Swedish Championship).
