2019 Orlando Pride Season
The 2019 Orlando Pride season was Orlando Pride's fourth season in the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. The team played its home games at Exploria Stadium, renamed from Orlando City Stadium on June 4, 2019. Following the departure of Tom Sermanni at the end of the 2018 season, Marc Skinner was announced as his replacement in January. Notable events Seven players signed with Australian W-League teams to play with during the 2018–19 NWSL offseason: Chioma Ubogagu and Carson Pickett joined Brisbane Roar, Dani Weatherholt and Christine Nairn joined Melbourne Victory, Rachel Hill joined Perth Glory, Alanna Kennedy joined Sydney FC and Emily van Egmond joined Newcastle Jets. Orlando Pride
The Orlando Pride is a professional women's soccer team based in Orlando, Florida. The team joined the National Women's Soccer League, the top level of women's soccer in the US, for the 2016 season. It became the tenth team to be added to the league. It is affiliated with the MLS team Orlando City SC and play their home games at Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando. Dani Weatherholt
Danielle Marie Weatherholt (born March 17, 1994) is an American soccer player who currently plays as a midfielder for Angel City in the National Women's Soccer League. She played college soccer at Santa Clara University before being drafted by the Orlando Pride in the fourth-round of the 2016 NWSL College Draft. Early life Weatherholt was born to Doug and Gail Weatherholt in Laguna Beach, California. She was raised with her two brothers in Capistrano Beach, California, where she attended San Clemente High School. Camila Martins Pereira (born 10 October 1994), commonly known as Camila or Camilinha, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder or outside back for Brazilian Série A1 team Palmeiras. Shelina Zadorsky
Shelina Laura Zadorsky (born October 24, 1992) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for FA Women's Super League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Canada national team. She previously played for Australian W-League club Perth Glory and Swedish top-division club Vittsjö GIK. Sydney Rae Leroux (; born May 7, 1990) is a professional soccer player and Olympic gold medalist who currently plays as a forward for Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
