2019 Norwegian Women's Cup
The 2019 Norwegian Women's Cup was the 42nd season of the Norwegian annual knock-out football tournament. It began with first round matches in April and May 2019. The first round was played between 22 April and 1 May and the tournament ended with the final which was held on 23 November 2019. LSK Kvinner Fotballklubb is a Norwegian women's football club from Lillestrøm. They currently play in Toppserien, the top division of Norwegian football. The club was founded as Setskog/Høland Fotballklubb on 10 October 1989. History The club was founded in 1989 as a merger between the women's football branches of Setskog IF and Høland IL. It was known as Setskog/Høland FK and played their home games on AHF-banen in Bjørkelangen, Aurskog-Høland. Before the 2001 season the club was relocated from Bjørkelangen to Strømmen and the name was changed to Team Strømmen. Team Strømmen finished the 2008 season in 2nd position in Toppserien, the top division of Norwegian football. Raufoss Fotball
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. AaFK Fortuna (formerly known as FK Fortuna Ålesund) is a Norwegian women's football club from Ålesund that currently competes in 2. divisjon, the third tier of Norwegian football. It is named after Fortuna of Roman mythology. History The club was founded on 25 August 1991 by outbreakers from SK Guard, and merged with Spjelkavik IL in 1995. Sportsklubben Haugar is an association football club from Haugesund, Norway, established in 1939. Its top women's team plays in the Second Division and the top men's team plays in the Fifth Division. The men's team has played two Norwegian Football Cup Finals, losing 0–7 against Fredrikstad in 1961 and 2–1 against Viking in 1979. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds.
