2019 Indonesia President's Cup Finals
The 2019 Indonesia President's Cup Finals was the two-legged final that decided the winner of the 2019 Indonesia President's Cup, the fourth season of Indonesia's pre-season premier club football tournament organised by PSSI. Unlike all the previous editions, it was a two-legged match home-and-away format. The finals was contested between local rivals Persebaya and Arema. The first leg was hosted by Persebaya at Gelora Bung Tomo in Surabaya on 9 April, while the second leg was hosted by Arema at Kanjuruhan in Malang three days later. Arema won the finals 4–2 on aggregate for their second Indonesia President's Cup title. 2019 Indonesia President's Cup
The 2019 Indonesia President's Cup ( id, Piala Presiden 2019) was the fourth edition of Indonesia President's Cup, held by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) as a pre-season tournament for the 2019 Liga 1. The tournament started on 2 March and finished on 12 April 2019. Persija were the defending champions, but they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Kalteng Putra. Arema won the finals 4–2 on aggregate against Persebaya for their second Indonesia President's Cup title. Perseru Serui
Persatuan Sepakbola Serui, commonly known as Perseru Serui, or Perseru, was an Indonesian football club based in Yapen Islands Regency, Papua. Their nickname is ''The Orange Cendrawasih''. The traditional team home kit is black and orange striped shirt, similar to Hull City or Shakhtar Donetsk. They last play in the Liga 1 in the Indonesian Football League. The Indonesian Archipelago geographically stretches across four time zones from UTC+06:00 in Aceh to UTC+09:00 in Papua. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Overtime (sports)
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. In sports (particularly association football), a two-legged tie is a contest between two teams which comprises two matches or "legs", with each team as the home team in one leg. The winning team is usually determined by aggregate score, the sum of the scores of the two legs.
