2019 In Professional Fighters League
This is a list of events and standings for the Professional Fighters League, a mixed martial arts organization based in the United States, for the 2019 season. Each weight class had 12 fighters, except the women's class which had 8 fighters. Each fighter faced two rivals in the regular season. The top fighters in each weight class (8 in the men's classes, 4 in the women's class) qualified to the playoffs. Uniondale is a census-designated place (CDP), as well as a suburb in Nassau County, New York, Nassau County, New York (state), New York, on Long Island, in the Town of Hempstead, New York, Town of Hempstead. Nassau Coliseum
Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum (or simply the Nassau Coliseum) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Uniondale, New York, east of New York City. The Long Island venue is approximately east of the eastern limits of the New York City Borough of Queens, and is also next to the Meadowbrook Parkway. This was the third regular season event of 2019 and included fights in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. The ''PFL 4'' mixed martial arts event for the 2019 season of the Professional Fighters League was held on July 11, 2019, at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This was the fourth regular season event of 2019 and include fights in the welterweight and women's lightweight divisions. Background The day before the event a Women's Lightweight bout between Sarah Kaufman and Roberta Samad and a Welterweight bout between André Fialho and Zane Kamaka were both cancelled as Samad and Kamaka both missed weight for their respective bouts. The ''PFL 5'' mixed martial arts event for the 2019 season of the Professional Fighters League was held on July 25, 2019, at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This was the fifth regular season event of 2019 and include fights in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. Background Several bouts were changed due to three fighters - lightweights Ramsey Nijem and Carlao Silva and featherweight Gadzhi Rabadanov - missing their weight marks for their respective bouts with all three removed from the card. As a result, defending lightweight champion Natan Schulte, Nijem's original opponent, instead faced Jesse Ronson, Silva's original opponent. Ocean Casino Resort (formerly Revel Casino Hotel Atlantic City) is a resort, hotel and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is the northernmost casino on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, located on of land, adjacent to the Showboat Hotel.
