2019 ITTF-Oceania Cup
The 2019 ITTF-Oceania Cup was a table tennis event that took place from 25–26 May in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. The competition was organised by ITTF-Oceania, under the authority of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). It was the 11th edition of the event, and the first time that it had been held in French Polynesia. Men's singles and women's singles competitions were held, with the winner of each event qualifying automatically for the 2019 Men's and Women's World Cups. The ninth edition of the Pacific Cup was also held during the event, with players from Australia and New Zealand excluded from competing. Bora Bora ( French: ''Bora-Bora''; Tahitian: ''Pora Pora'') is an island group in the Leeward Islands. 2019 Europe Top 16 Cup
The 2019 Europe Top 16 Cup (also referred to as the 2019 CCB Europe Top 16 Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a table tennis competition held from 2–3 February in Montreux, Switzerland, organised under the authority of the European Table Tennis Union (ETTU). It was the 48th edition of the event, and the fourth time that it had been held in Switzerland. Events were held in men's singles and women's singles, and the three medallists in each event qualified for the 2019 Men's and Women's World Cups. Grace Yee
Grace Yee is a poet, writer and creative writing teacher. Her debut verse novel, ''Chinese Fish'', won both the Victorian Prize for Literature and the Mary and Peter Biggs Award for Poetry in 2024. Early life and education Yee was born in British Hong Kong and grew up in New Zealand and Australia. She graduated from Deakin University with a MA. Sally Yee (born April 10, 2001) is a Fijian table tennis player who represented Fiji at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's singles event. She won 3 silver medals and a bronze at the 2019 Pacific Games. Career Fiji entered her into the table tennis competition at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games for the first time in the nation's Olympic history. She secured a spot in the women's singles by virtue of her top three finish at the 2016 Oceania Qualification Tournament in Bendigo, Australia.
