2019 Georgia Bulldogs Football Team
The 2019 Georgia Bulldogs football team represented the University of Georgia in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Bulldogs played their home games at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia, and competed in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by fourth-year head coach Kirby Smart. Georgia began the year ranked third in the AP Poll, and were considered the favorite to represent the East Division in the SEC Championship Game for a third consecutive year. Kirby Smart
Kirby Paul Smart (born December 23, 1975) is an American football coach and former player. He is the current head football coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, his alma mater. He coached the 2021 Bulldogs to a national championship victory, their first title win since 1980. Early life Smart was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and grew up in Bainbridge, Georgia. Smart began his playing career at Bainbridge High School and went on to play college football at the University of Georgia, where he was teammates with defensive linemen Antonio Cochran, Emarlos Leroy, linebacker Brandon Tolbert, and Pro Football Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey. 2019 South Carolina Gamecocks Football Team
The 2019 South Carolina Gamecocks football team (variously South Carolina, USC, SC, or The Gamecocks) represented the University of South Carolina in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This season marked the Gamecocks 126th overall season, 28th as a member of the SEC East Division. Isaiah Wilson
Isaiah Terrell Wilson (born February 12, 1999) is a former American football offensive tackle who played one season with the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia and was drafted by the Titans in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Since dropping out of the NFL, he has pursued a career as a rapper. Wilson's tenure with the Titans was characterized by violations of team rules and several off-field legal issues, leading to minimal playing time and his subsequent trade to the Miami Dolphins after his rookie season. Solomon Kindley
Solomon Terry Kindley (born July 3, 1997) is an American football guard for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia. College career During his redshirt freshman season in 2017, Kindley started 10 games at right guard. After Georgia's regular season loss to Auburn he was replaced by Ben Cleveland, but Kindley won the starting job at left guard in 2018. Kindley was named a team captain in 2019. D'Andre Tiyon Swift (born January 14, 1999) is an American football running back for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). William Jacob Fromm (born July 30, 1998) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Georgia and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He started two games with the New York Giants in 2021.
