2019 DPMM FC Season
The 2019 season will be DPMM FC's 8th consecutive season in the top flight of Singapore football and in the Singapore Premier League. Along with the SGPL, the club will also compete in the Singapore Cup. The club has also entered a domestic team to compete in the 2018–19 Brunei Premier League. DPMM became Brunei Premier League champions on 26 February. On 15 September 2019, Brunei DPMM FC became champions of the 2019 Singapore Premier League with two games to spare after a 4–4 draw between Geylang International and Hougang United meant that DPMM's lead at the top of the table cannot be surpassed. Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club in English, commonly known as DPMM FC) is a professional football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The club played in the Brunei Premier League in the early 2000s, winning the league title in 2002 and 2004. The club then decided to play in Malaysia, and joined the Malaysian Premier League as a foreign-based team in for the 2005–06 season. They won promotion to the Malaysian Super League (the top tier of Malaysian football) at the end of their first season in Malaysian football, and then finished 3rd and 10th in the following two season in the Super League. The club then left the Malaysian league and joined Singapore's S.League for the 2009 season. Ishyra Asmin Jabidi
Laskar Muhammad Ishyra Asmin bin Mohammad Jabidi (born 9 July 1998) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for MS ABDB of the Brunei Super League and the Brunei national football team. Club career Ishyra is a graduate of IBTE and has been involved with the national youth team setup since 2013. He played for the club sides of the Young Wasps early in his career, namely the Tabuan U18 in 2015 and Tabuan U21 in 2016. After impressive performances playing as the first choice goalkeeper for Kasuka FC in the 2017–18 Brunei Super League, Ishyra was signed for Brunei's sole professional club DPMM FC at the start of the 2018 S.League. Helmi Zambin
Mohammad Helmi bin Haji Zambin is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a right-sided full-back or midfielder for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team. Club career Helmi began his career with AH United from 2004 to 2008. The following year he was selected to play for Brunei's sole professional club, DPMM FC. He went to Indera SC on loan for the two seasons the FIFA ban on Brunei was in effect. After the appointment of Steve Kean, Helmi only made 5 appearances in the 2014 S.League. Kean converted him to a right-sided full-back in the following season to help him gain more playing time. He made 15 appearances as DPMM won their first S.League title. Suhaimi Anak Sulau
Muhammad Helmi Wafiy bin Muhammad Ammar Naim, previously known as Suhaimi Anak Sulau (born March 3, 1996) is a Bruneian footballer who plays for Hoist FT and the Brunei national football team as a defender. Club career Suhaimi played youth football with Muara Vella FC, and was in Majra FC's books in 2014 when they played only 9 games in the Brunei Super League before withdrawing from the league. For the 2015 season, he played for Tabuan Muda in preparation for the 28th SEA Games held in Singapore. Wijaya FC signed him at the beginning of the 2016 season. Najib Tarif
Mohamad Najib bin Haji Tarif is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or defender for DPMM and the Brunei national team. Club career Starting out with the likes of NBT FC and AM Gunners of the Brunei Premier League, Najib's performances at the 2012 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy as team captain prompted a move from MS PDB to Brunei's only professional club, DPMM. After appearing only seven times in the 2015 season, Najib's club head coach Steve Kean advised him to switch to the left-back position for him to gain playing time (as he has done to Helmi Zambin and Aminuddin Zakwan Tahir). Pengiran Mohammad Fakharrazi bin Pengiran Haji Hassan (born 15 July 1989), sometimes erroneously referred to as Ak Fakharazzi is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a right-sided defender or midfielder for DPMM and the Brunei national team. Abdul Mu'iz bin Sisa (born 20 April 1991) is a Bruneian professional footballer who plays for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team as a left-sided full-back. He previously played for Indera SC where he won the first two Brunei Super League championships in 2012–13 and 2014. Club career Abdul Mu'iz rose through the ranks from the youth system of Indera SC. Tabuan Muda (English:''Young Wasps'') was a Bruneian football team that played in the Bruneian football league system, under the management of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. The team was formed in 2015 to prepare Brunei's youth international teams for their participation in upcoming regional and international tournaments. Muhammad Wafi bin Aminuddin (born 20 September 2000) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a defender.
