2019 Bradford Bulls Season
This article details the Bradford Bulls rugby league football club's 2019 season. This is the Bulls 1st season back in the Championship (rugby league), Championship after gaining promotion from League 1 (rugby league), League 1 by beating Workington Town 27–8 in the play off final. Season Review August 2018 It was announced that first team prop forward James Davies (rugby league), James Davies left the club to sign for rugby union side Huddersfield RUFC. Recruitment for the new season started as on loan prop forward Callum Bustin signed a permanent contract with the Bulls until the end of 2019. Bradford brought some experience into the squad with the signing of veteran Super League centre Jake Webster from Castleford Tigers on a 2 Year Deal. Championship (rugby League)
The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, League One. The league announced a two-year sponsorship deal with the bookmaking company Betfred ahead of the 2018 season. The current champions are Leigh Centurions, winners of the 2022 season after beating Batley Bulldogs in the Million Pound Game to win promotion to Super League 2023. James Green (born 29 November 1990) is a rugby league footballer who played as for the York City Knights in the Betfred Championship. He played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League, and on loan from Hull KR at Workington Town and the Gateshead Thunder in Championship 1 and the Batley Bulldogs in the Championship. Green played for the Leigh Centurions in the Super League, and spent time on loan from Leigh at the Sheffield Eagles in the Championship. Hunslet () is an inner-city area in south Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It is southeast of the city centre and has an industrial past. Sheffield Eagles
The Sheffield Eagles are a professional rugby league club that play in the Championship (rugby league), Betfred Championship. The club play their home games at the Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) on the former site of Don Valley Stadium, their former ground.
