Tracy Smith (baseball)
Tracy Smith (born February 14, 1966) is an American baseball coach and former player, who is the current head baseball coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He played college baseball at Miami (OH) from 1985 to 1988 for head coach Jon Pavlisko, before pursuing a professional career from 1988 to 1990. He then served as the head coach of the Miami RedHawks (1997–2005), the Indiana Hoosiers (2006–2014) and the Arizona State Sun Devils (2015–2021). Smith was the head coach of Indiana from 2006 to 2014, during which time the Hoosiers appeared in three NCAA Tournaments, advancing to the College World Series once. As the head coach of Miami (OH) from 1997–2005, Smith led the RedHawks to two NCAA Tournaments. Playing career Smith played for South Newton High School. The Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball team is the college baseball program that represents California State University, Long Beach. Although all Long Beach State sports teams are officially known as the Beach, the baseball team is typically referred to as the "Dirtbags". Their colors are black and gold. The Arizona Wildcats baseball team is the intercollegiate men's baseball program representing the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, United States. They compete in the Pac-12 Conference (Pac-12) of NCAA Division I. PK Park
PK Park is a baseball stadium in the northwest United States, located in Eugene, Oregon. It is the home field of the University of Oregon Ducks of the Pac-12 Conference, and during the summer, the home of the minor league Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League. The Ducks' program was revived in 2009 after nearly three decades as a club sport. PK Park is named after former Oregon athletic director Pat Kilkenny, whose donations helped to fund the stadium. Oregon Ducks Baseball
The Oregon Ducks baseball team represents the University of Oregon in NCAA Division I college baseball in the Pac-12 Conference. The home games are played on campus at PK Park. History Oregon played its first baseball game in 1877 and established the program in 1885. The UO team made one College World Series appearance, in 1954, and was eliminated from the tournament after losing to Arizona and Massachusetts. A decade later in 1964, in the re-organized Athletic Association of Western Universities, Oregon was once again North Division champions, but lost at defending national champion USC in the district finals (today's super-regionals). The New Mexico State Aggies baseball team represents New Mexico State University, which is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Aggies are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in the Western Athletic Conference.
