2019 Arizona Cardinals Season
The 2019 season was the Arizona Cardinals' 100th in the National Football League (NFL), their 32nd in Arizona and their first under head coach Kliff Kingsbury, following the firing of former head coach Steve Wilks the previous season. During the offseason, the Cardinals' home stadium was renamed from University of Phoenix Stadium to State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals were one of two current teams, along with the Chicago Bears, who were among the 14 charter members of the American Professional Football Association, which later became the NFL, that celebrated its 100th season in 2019. The Cardinals improved on their 3–13 campaign in 2018. However, they were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention for the fourth straight season after a Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. NFC West
The National Football Conference - Western Division or NFC West is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Coastal Division, keeping with the theme of having all of the league's divisions starting with the letter "C." The division was so named because its teams were fairly close to the coasts of the United States, although they were on opposite coasts, making for long travel between division rivals. Robert Alford (American Football)
Robert Alford (born November 1, 1988) is an American football cornerback who is a free agent. He played college football at Southeastern Louisiana and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Early years Alford was born in Hammond, Louisiana. He attended Hammond High Magnet School and played high school football and ran track for the Hammond Tornadoes. He was a first-team all-District 7-5A selection at wide receiver, catching 10 touchdown passes as a senior for the Tors. He was chosen as the Tors’ Rookie of the Year as a sophomore. Kyler Cole Murray (born August 7, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). Following a stint at Texas A&M University, Texas A&M, Murray played college football at University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma, where he won the Heisman Trophy as a junior.
