Amy Vachon (1978) is an American basketball coach and a former player. A long-time assistant at the University of Maine, Vachon took over as head coach following Richard Barron's medical absence began on January 6. As interim head coach, Vachon led the 2016–17 Lady Black Bears to an 11–6 record, including a trip to the finals of the 2017 America East women's basketball tournament. In April 2017, she was named interim head coach for the 2017–18 season. The 2018–19 Hartford Hawks women's basketball team represented the University of Hartford during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season.
