2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The 2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 56th staging overall of a Gaelic football championship for players between the minor and senior grades. The championship began on 22 June 2019 and ended on 3 August 2019. Kildare entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Laois in the Leinster Championship. The All-Ireland final was played on 3 August 2019 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Cork and Dublin, in what was their first meeting in a final in 39 years. Cork won the match by 3-16 to 1-14 to claim their 12th championship title overall and a first title since 2009. Dublin's Ciarán Archer was the championship's top scorer with 9-35. Keith Ricken
Michael Keith Ricken (born 1970) is an Irish Gaelic football coach and former player. He has experience as a manager at club and inter-county levels. Ricken was announced as manager of the senior Cork county football team, Cork county team for the 2022 season but was forced to step down due to health problems midway through, with John Cleary (Gaelic footballer), John Cleary taking over on an interim basis. Management career Ricken's playing career included time as a goalkeeper with the St Vincent's GAA (Cork), St. Vincent's club on the northside of Cork (city), Cork city. It was with his home club that he first moved into coaching, guiding the St. Vincent's intermediate team to Cork Premier Intermediate Football Championship, Premier Intermediate Championship successes in 2006 and again in 2012. The Leitrim county football team ( ) represents Leitrim in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Leitrim GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship, and the National Football League. Tuam Stadium
St Jarlath's Park (''Páirc Naomh Iarflaith'', commonly known as Tuam Stadium) is a GAA stadium in Tuam, County Galway, Ireland. It is one of the principal stadiums of Galway GAA's football teams. The ground once had a capacity of around 26,000. This has progressively been reduced for safety reasons and has most recently been reduced to 6,700. The official opening of the stadium took place on 21 May 1950. It was blessed and officially opened by the Archbishop of Tuam, Rev. Dr Walsh. St Brigid's GAA (Roscommon)
St Brigid's GAA Club (''Naomh Bríd'') is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parishes of Kiltoom and Cam in South County Roscommon, Ireland. They play in green and red colours and their home pitch is at Newpark, Kiltoom. The club was founded in 1944 and is the home club of former Roscommon inter-county player Gerry O'Malley. The club has won one All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, beating Ballymun Kickhams in the All-Ireland Club Final on St Patrick's Day, 17 March 2013. MacHale Park () is a GAA stadium in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland. It is the home of the Castlebar Mitchels GAA and Mayo GAA Gaelic football teams.
