2018–19 Texas Longhorns Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Texas Longhorns women's basketball team represented the University of Texas at Austin in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. It was head coach Karen Aston's seventh season at Texas. The Longhorns were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at the Frank Erwin Center. They finished the season 23–10, 12–6 in Big 12 play to finish in third place. They advanced to the championship game of the Big 12 women's basketball tournament, where they lost to Iowa State. Karen Aston
Karen Sue Aston (born July 26, 1964) is an American basketball player and coach. She is currently the head coach of the UTSA Roadrunners women's basketball team. She has served as the head women's basketball coach at Texas, Charlotte and North Texas. Aston has a career record of 323–203 (.614). In her first 13 seasons as a head coach, Aston's teams have averaged 22 wins per year and have made a combined ten postseason appearances. Aston was one of four finalists for the Naismith Women's College Coach of the Year award in 2017 and was one of ten semifinalists for the honor in 2018. Parkway North High School
Parkway North High School is a public high school in west St. Louis County, Missouri. Building architecture The school extensively used open classrooms, as the school was originally constructed without walls separating classrooms. This was a trend in architecture in 1971 when the building was constructed. However, the infeasibility of this design was discovered ten years later, and plaster walls were inserted between classrooms, resulting in an eclectic mix of architectural styling, as well as the logistical problems with these newly created rooms receiving proper HVAC ventilation.
