The 2018–19 Polish Cup was the 62nd edition of the Polish Volleyball Cup tournament. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle beat Jastrzębski Węgiel in the final (3–1) and won its seventh Polish Cup. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

2018–19 PlusLiga
The 2018–19 PlusLiga was the 83rd season of the Polish Volleyball Championship, the 19th season as a professional league organized by the Polish Volleyball League SA ( pl, Polska Liga Siatkówki SA) under the supervision of the Polish Volleyball Federation ( pl, Polski Związek Piłki Siatkowej). Due to financial issues of Stocznia Szczecin, the players have not received their salaries since the beginning of the season and most of them decided to leave the club by terminating their contracts by mutual agreement in late November or early December. On 13 December 2018, Stocznia withdrew from the competition. ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle won their 8th title of the Polish Champions. Benjamin Toniutti
Benjamin Toniutti (born 30 October 1989) is a French professional volleyball player who plays as a setter for Jastrzębski Węgiel and the France national team. He won a gold medal in the men's tournament at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and is the 2015 European Champion and the 2021 Champions League winner with ZAKSA. Personal life Toniutti was born and raised in Alsace by his father Maurizio, an Italian French, and French mother Cathy. His parents often travel to attend Toniutti's league matches. Łukasz Kaczmarek (born 29 June 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Poland national team, a participant in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, silver medallist at the 2022 World Championship, and a two–time Champions League winner (2021, 2022). Łukasz Wiśniewski (born 3 February 1989) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as a middle blocker for Skra Bełchatów. He is a former member of the Poland national team. Paweł Zatorski (born 21 June 1990) is a Polish professional volleyball player. He is a member of the Poland national team, a participant in the Olympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020), two–time World Champion (2014, 2018), 2012 World League winner, and the 2021 Champions League winner. The Polish Men's Volleyball SuperCup is an annual competition for volleyball clubs in Poland played by the PlusLiga champions and Polish Cup winners. It is overseen by the Polish Volleyball Federation ( pl, Polski Związek Piłki Siatkowej) and the Professional Volleyball League SA ( pl, Profesjonalna Liga Piłki Siatkowej S.A.).
