2018–19 Montenegrin Cup
The 2018–19 Montenegrin Cup was the 13th season of the football tournament in Montenegro. The cup began on 28 August 2018 and ended on 30 May 2019. The winners of this competition earned a place in the UEFA Europa League. OFK Titograd won the previous season's tournament (under the name Mladost Podgorica), and were the defending champions. The club defeated Igalo in the final by the score of 2–0. Format Twenty–six clubs participated in the competition this season. The first round and the final were contested over one leg with all other rounds being contested over two legs. First round Draw for the first round was held on 23 August 2018. OFK Titograd
OFK Titograd (Montenegrin Cyrillic: ОФК Титоград) is a professional football club based in Podgorica, Montenegro. Founded in 1951, they play in the Third League of Montenegro. The team has one league trophy and two Montenegrin Cup trophies. OFK Titograd is a member of the European Club Association. History OFK Titograd was formed in 1951 as FK Mladost. Ten years later, the team changed their name to OFK Titograd, which was the name of Podgorica from 1946 until 1992. The club renamed themselves back to Mladost in 1992. In June 2018, the team renamed once again (OFK Titograd), due to respect to older generations and the tradition of Podgorica. FK Iskra Danilovgrad
Fudbalski klub Iskra (English: Football Club Iskra) is a Montenegrin football club based in Danilovgrad. They currently compete in the Montenegrin First League. History FK Iskra was founded in 1919, under the name ''RSK Sloga Danilovgrad''. Since 1929, the team played under the name ''RSK Zmaj'', with their first-ever performance in Montenegrin Football Championship on season 1933–34. After World War II, the team started to play under the name FK Iskra. First significant success, FK Iskra made with promotion to Montenegrin Republic League 1948–49. Another historical success, FK Iskra made in summer 1956. Bye (sports)
In sport, a bye is the preferential status of a player or team that is automatically advanced to the next round of a tournament, without having to play an opponent in an early round. In knockout (elimination) tournaments they can be granted either to reward the highest ranked participant(s) or assigned randomly, to make a working bracket if the number of participants is not a power of two (e.g. 16 or 32). In round-robin tournaments, usually one competitor gets a bye in each round when there are an odd number of competitors, as it is impossible for all competitors to play in the same round. Fudbalski klub Podgorica, formerly known as OFK Mladost 1970, is a football club from the southwestern part of Podgorica, Montenegro. It was founded in 1970, the club was reactivated during 2014. In the summer 2019, the club was renamed to FK Podgorica. FK Otrant-Olympic ( Montenegrin: ''Fudbalski klub Otrant-Olympic'', Albanian: ''Klubi Futbollistik Otrant-Olympic'') is a Montenegrin football club based in the coastal town of Ulcinj. FK Kom is a Montenegrin football club based in Zlatica, a suburb of Podgorica. Founded in 1958, they currently compete in the Montenegrin Second League. FK Jezero is a Montenegrin football club based in the town of Plav. Established at 1934, the club plays in the First League of Montenegro. OFK Petrovac is a football club based in Petrovac, Montenegro. They currently compete in the First League of Montenegro. History OFK Petrovac was founded in 1969, under the name ''FK Nafta''.
