2018–19 Melbourne City FC Season
The 2018–19 Melbourne City FC season was the club's ninth season since its establishment in 2009. The club competed in the A-League for the ninth time and the FFA Cup for the fifth time. Players Squad information Review Pre-season matches Melbourne City began their pre-season by playing two games in Kochi, India beating Indian club Kerala Blasters 6–0 and losing to Spanish club Girona FC 6–0. During August-October, the club played a training match each month, drawing with Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium and beating Adelaide United and Perth Glory at City Football Academy. Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south–eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East, that plays in the A-League, the top level of Australian soccer, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL).
