2018–19 Indiana Hoosiers Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Indiana Hoosiers women's basketball team represents Indiana University Bloomington during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hoosiers were led by fifth year head coach Teri Moren and play their home games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall as a member of the Big Ten Conference. They finished the season 21–13, 8–10 in Big Ten play to finish in a tie for tenth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the Big Ten women's tournament where they lost to Iowa. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA women's basketball tournament where they defeated Texas in the first round before losing to Oregon in the second round. Teri Moren
Teri Marie Moren (born April 14, 1969) is the current head coach of the Indiana University women's basketball team. Moren's Hoosiers won the 2018 Women's National Invitation Tournament. As an assistant coach she won a gold medal at the 2022 FIBA Under-18 Women's Americas Championship. Moren was named the 2016 Big Ten Conference Women's Basketball Coach of the Year and was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014. High school playing career Moren played high school basketball at Seymour High School, which boasts the nation's 2nd largest high school gym, playing for Indiana Hall of Fame coach Donna Sullivan. Moren won four sectional championships, two regional titles, and an appearance at the 1987 state basketball finals. Newark High School (Ohio)
Newark High School is a public high school in Newark, Ohio. It houses a little more than 2,000 students. It is the only high school in the Newark City Schools district. An additional 150 students attend the Career and Technical Education Center (C-TEC) associated with the school. Newark High School was built in 1959 and opened in 1961. Pittsburgh Panthers women's basketball is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate women's basketball program of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Vincentian Academy was a Roman Catholic college preparatory school near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team is the intercollegiate women's basketball program representing University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Butler Traditional High School is a high school in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. History Suda E. Butler High School opened in 1954. It was chosen in 1988 as the second high school in Jefferson County to offer the Traditional Program. In this program the standards of patriotism, morality, and personal integrity are stressed in a structured learning environment.
