2018–19 FAO Women's League
The 2018–19 FAO Women's League was the 6th edition of the FAO Women's League. Rising Student's Club were the defending champions. The FAO Women's League (FWL) is organised every year by the Football Association of Odisha (FAO), the official football governing body of Odisha, India. The regular season started on 20 February 2019 and ended on 9 March 2019. The Odisha Women's League (OWL), previously known as the FAO Women's League, is the women's top division football league of Odisha. The league is among the existing top tier women's football leagues in India. The league is organised every year by the apex football governing body of Odisha, the Football Association of Odisha (FAO), in association with the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) of the Government of Odisha. It is currently contested by 6 clubs across the state. Since the inception of the Odisha Women's League, a total of four clubs have been crowned champions. East Coast Railway and Rising Students Club have won the most titles in league history, being crowned champions thrice. Chand Club, Odisha Police, and SAI-STC have won it once. Cuttack
Cuttack (, or officially Kataka ) in Odia is the former capital and the second largest city in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the headquarters of the Cuttack district. Alochana Senapati
Alochana Senapati (born 13 June 1989) is an Indian former footballer who played as a defender. Career Senapati was born in Aali in the Kendrapara district in Odisha. She represented Sports Hostel Bhubaneswar in state and club tournaments and Odisha women's football team. Senapati represented India at the 2008 AFC Women's Asian Cup qualification and the 2012 Olympics Qualifiers. She was also a part of the national winning squads which played in the 2010 and 2012 SAFF Women's Championships. Barabati Stadium
The Barabati Stadium is an Indian sports stadium used mostly for cricket and association football, and also sometimes for concerts and field hockey, located in Cuttack, Odisha. It is a regular venue for international cricket and is the home ground of Odisha cricket team. The stadium is owned and operated by the Odisha Cricket Association. It is also used for Association Football. It hosts Santosh Trophy national football tournament and the state's Odisha First Division League football matches. The Barabati Stadium is one of the older grounds in India, having hosted several touring sides – including the MCC, the West Indies team and the Australians – before it hosted its first international match. The Kalinga Stadium is a multi-purpose International stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Its foundation stone was laid by former chief minister of Odisha Late Biju Patnaik in 1978.
