2018–19 Clemson Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Clemson Tigers men's basketball team represented Clemson University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by ninth-year head coach Brad Brownell, the Tigers played their home games at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, South Carolina as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 9–9 in ACC Play to finish a tie for 8th place. They lost in the second round of the ACC tournament to NC State. Brad Brownell
Bradley Robert Brownell (born November 15, 1968) is an American college basketball coach and most recently the previous head basketball coach at Clemson University. Prior to coming to Clemson, he held the same position at Wright State and UNC Wilmington. He has most recently coached his 13th season at Clemson, losing in the first round of the NIT tournament to Morehead State. Early life Born in Evansville, Indiana, Brownell played high school basketball at William Henry Harrison High School with current Indiana Pacers assistant of player development and Indiana University player Calbert Cheaney. Brownell graduated from DePauw University in 1991, where he was a member of the basketball team and the Sigma Chi fraternity. He immediately went into coaching after graduating. 2018 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2018 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York from March 6–10, 2018. It was the 65th annual edition of the tournament, and the second year in a row being held at Barclays Center. The Virginia Cavaliers entered the tournament as the top seed, with a 17–1 conference record (28–2 overall) under the guidance of Tony Bennett. UVA also began the tournament unanimously ranked number 1 in the country in both major polls. The Cavaliers defeated Louisville 75–58 and Clemson 64–58 to secure a place in the tournament championship game. Donte Grantham (born March 19, 1995) is an American basketball player for SLUC Nancy Basket of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for Clemson University. Pewee Valley is a home rule-class city in Oldham County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 1,456 at the 2010 census. History The site of present-day Pewee Valley was first settled as a stop on the Louisville and Frankfort Railroad in 1852 under the name Smith's Station, although it remains unclear which Smith gave his name to the community. Shelby, North Carolina
Shelby is a city in and the county seat of Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. It lies near the western edge of the Charlotte combined statistical area. The population was 20,323 at the 2010 census. History The area was originally inhabited by Catawba and Cherokee peoples and was later settled between around 1760. Gabe DeVoe
Gabe DeVoe (born December 16, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Start Lublin of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He played college basketball for Clemson. High school career DeVoe decided to pursue basketball as his only sport in seventh grade and pursued a practice regimen that saw him wake up at 5AM and shoot and do conditioning drills at the local YMCA. The 2017–18 Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team represented the University of Kansas in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, which was the Jayhawks' 120th basketball season. The Jayhawks, were members of the Big 12 Conference and played their home games at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kansas. They were led by 15th year Hall of Fame head coach Bill Self. On October 22, the Jayhawks renewed their rivalry against Missouri in an exhibition game for charity. The 2017–18 Auburn Tigers men's basketball team represented Auburn University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season as a member of the Southeastern Conference. The team's head coach was Bruce Pearl in his fourth season at Auburn. The team played their home games at the Auburn Arena in Auburn, Alabama.
