2018 Tour Of Chongming Island
The 2018 Tour of Chongming Island was the twelfth staging of the Tour of Chongming Island, a women's stage race held in Shanghai, China. It ran from 26 to 28 April 2018, as the 10th event of the 2018 UCI Women's World Tour. German rider Charlotte Becker won the event ahead of Australian Shannon Malseed and Russian Anastasiia Iakovenko. Becker moved into the lead after she won stage 2 in a five-woman sprint. 2018 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2018 UCI Women's World Tour was a competition that included twenty-four road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2018 in women's road cycling, 2018 women's cycling season. It was the third edition of the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition began with 2018 Strade Bianche Women, Strade Bianche on 3 March and concluded with the Tour of Guangxi on 21 October. Anna van der Breggen of the Netherlands was the defending champion. Van der Breggen, riding for the team, was unable to defend her title, as she finished third in the standings behind compatriots Annemiek van Vleuten () and Marianne Vos, who was riding for the squad. Jolien D'hoore (born 14 March 1990) is a Belgian former track and road cyclist, who rode professionally between 2007 and 2021 for the , , , and teams. D'hoore is a 29-time national track champion as well as a four-time national road champion at all competition levels. Kirsten Carlijn Wild (born 15 October 1982) is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2004 and 2021, for eight professional teams. During her track cycling career, Wild rode at the Summer Olympic Games in 2012, 2016 and 2020, winning a bronze medal at the latter Games, in the omnium. She won eighteen medals including nine golds at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, and eighteen medals including eight golds at the UEC European Track Championships. Jutatip Maneephan ( th, จุฑาธิป มณีพันธุ์; born 8 July 1988) is a Thai road bicycle racer and track cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . Career Maneephan was born and raised in the Roi Et Province in Thailand's Northeast region. Maneephan began her cycling career as a track cyclist.
