The 2018 Toronto Blue Jays season was the 42nd season of the franchise in the American League East division of Major League Baseball (MLB), and the 28th full season of play (29th overall) at Rogers Centre. American League East
The American League East is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. MLB consists of an East, Central, and West division for each of its two 15-team leagues, the American League (AL) and National League (NL). This division was created before the start of the season along with the American League West division. Before that time, each league consisted of 10 teams without any divisions. Michael Samuel Wilner (born March 14, 1970) is a former Canadian baseball broadcaster for the Toronto Blue Jays. Michael Edward Brett Saunders (born November 19, 1986) is a Canadian former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays, and Philadelphia Phillies. The Buffalo Bisons (known colloquially as the Herd) are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two sports league, leagues operate at the Triple-A level, the International League (IL) and the Pacific Coast League (PCL). There are 30 teams, one per each Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise, with 20 in the IL and 10 in the PCL. César Miguel Valdez (born March 17, 1985) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.
