The 2018 Southern Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Southern Conference for the 2017–18 season. All tournament games were played at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, North Carolina, from March 2 through 5, 2018. UNC Greensboro defeated East Tennessee State in the championship game to win the tournament and receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Seeds All ten teams in the Southern Conference were eligible to compete in the conference tournament. The 2017–18 Furman Paladins women's basketball team represents Furman University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. 2017–18 Chattanooga Mocs Women's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Chattanooga Mocs women's basketball team represented the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mocs, led by fifth-year head coach Jim Foster, played their home games at the McKenzie Arena as members of the Southern Conference (SoCon). The Mocs finished the season 17–13, 8–6 in third place in the SoCon, losing to UNC Greensboro in the conference tournament.
