2018 South Carolina Gamecocks Football Team
The 2018 South Carolina Gamecocks football team (variously USC, SC, South Carolina, or The Gamecocks) represents the University of South Carolina in the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This season marks the Gamecocks 125th overall season, 27th as a member of the SEC, and 3rd under head coach Will Muschamp. The Gamecocks play their home games at Williams–Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina. Will Muschamp
William Lawrence Muschamp (born August 3, 1971) is an American football coach and former player. He is the co- defensive coordinator and safeties coach at the University of Georgia. He served as head football coach at the University of Florida from 2011 to 2014 and the University of South Carolina from 2016 to 2020. In his second season as defensive coordinator at Auburn, Muschamp was a finalist for the 2007 Broyles Award for the most outstanding assistant coach in college football. Prior to his accepting the job at Florida, the University of Texas announced that Muschamp would eventually succeed Mack Brown as head coach of the Longhorns and designated him the "head coach in waiting." Skai Moore (born January 8, 1995) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He played college football at South Carolina and signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Professional career Moore signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2018. After making the Colts 53-man roster, he played in three games, starting one, before being waived on September 28, 2018. He was re-signed to the practice squad on October 1, 2018. Taylor Joseph Stallworth (born August 18, 1995) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at South Carolina, and was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
