2018 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship
The 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship is the 37th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of Division I NCAA women's college lacrosse. The semifinal and championship rounds will be played at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, New York from May 25–27, 2018. All other rounds were played at campus sites, usually at the home field of the higher-seeded team, from May 11–20. Florida Gators Women's Lacrosse
The Florida Gators women's lacrosse team represents the University of Florida in the sport of college lacrosse. The Gators compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and are single-sport members of the American Athletic Conference (The American), which they joined in 2018 after four seasons in the Big East Conference. The Navy Midshipmen women's lacrosse team is an NCAA Division I college lacrosse team representing the United States Naval Academy as part of the Patriot League. They play their home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. The Mercer Bears are the athletic teams of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, United States. Mercer is the only private university in Georgia with an NCAA Division I athletic program and fields teams in eight men's and nine women's sports. The Johns Hopkins Blue Jays Women's Lacrosse team represents Johns Hopkins University in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I women's college lacrosse competition. The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I whose full members are located in East Coast states from Massachusetts to South Carolina. Most of its members are public universities, and the conference is headquartered in Richmond. The CAA was historically a Southern conference until the addition of four schools in the Northeast (of five that joined from rival conference America East) after the turn of the 21st century, which added geographic balance to the conference. The Jacksonville Dolphins are the intercollegiate athletics teams that represent Jacksonville University, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The Dolphins participate in NCAA Division I athletics, and are primarily members of the ASUN Conference.
