The 2018 Munster Senior Football Championship will be the 2018 installment of the annual Munster Senior Football Championship organised by the Munster GAA. The fixtures were announced on 31 October 2017. Kerry won the championship, defeating rivals Cork in the final. Kerry GAA
The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kerry GAA, is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. It is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kerry, and for the Kerry county teams. The Kerry branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association was founded in the year 1888. Football is the dominant sport in the county, with both the men's and women's teams among the strongest in the country at senior level. 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
The 2010 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 124th edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football tournament, played between 31 of the 32 counties of Ireland plus London and New York. The draw for the championship took place on 22 October 2009. The championship began on 2 May 2010 and concluded with the All-Ireland final at Croke Park on 19 September 2010. Cork defeated Down by 0-16 to 0-15 to win their seventh All-Ireland senior title, and their first since 1990. The 2010 championship was unusual in that all four provincial champions (Kerry, Meath, Roscommon and Tyrone) were knocked out in the All-Ireland quarter-finals, and all four provincial runners-up (Limerick, Louth, Sligo and Monaghan) were eliminated in the fourth and final round of the All-Ireland qualifiers. Robbie Kiely
Robbie Kiely (born 16 December 1990) is an Irish Gaelic football player who plays plays his club football for Barryroe GAA in Cork and previously at inter-county level for Tipperary. Career Kiely made his championship debut for Tipperary in 2011 against Louth On 31 July 2016, he started in the half back line as Tipperary defeated Galway in the 2016 All-Ireland Quarter-finals at Croke Park to reach their first All-Ireland semi-final since 1935. On 21 August 2016, Tipperary were beaten in the semi-final by Mayo on a 2-13 to 0-14 scoreline, with Kiely receiving a black card in the first ten minutes of the match for a pull on the jersey of Jason Doherty which the referee David Coldrick deemed as a cynical foul. Liam Kearns
Liam Kearns (1962 – 12 March 2023) was an Irish Gaelic football manager and player. He managed Offaly from 2022 until his death in 2023. Kearns previously managed the Limerick, Laois and Tipperary county teams, as well as several clubs in different counties. He led Tipperary to a 2016 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final, the county's first since 1935. After leaving Tipperary and before being appointed Offaly manager, Kearns managed Clann na nGael GAA (Roscommon). Early life Kearns's father Ollie captained Kerry to an All-Ireland MFC final in the late 1950s. His father Ollie was then a wing-forward on the Graiguecullen team that won their last Laois Senior Football Championship title in 1965. The 1896 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the tenth staging of Ireland's premier Gaelic football knock-out competition. It was the first championship in which a goal was worth three points. Limerick won their second, and so far last, title. Billy Lee is a former Gaelic footballer and former manager of the Limerick county football team. He is from Newcastle West. Player Lee played for Limerick. He became a selector when Liam Kearns managed the team between 1999 and 2005, and then was manager for six years. He won the McGrath Cup and won the National Football League Division 4 title. The 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship was the 127th edition of the GAA's premier inter-county Gaelic football since its establishment in 1887. Fionn Fitzgerald
Fionn Fitzgerald (born 27 April 1990) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays as a left corner-back with the Kerry senior team. Born in Killarney, County Kerry, Fitzgerald first played competitive Gaelic football during his schooling at St. Brendan's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Kerry minor team. He made his senior debut during the 2013 National Football League.
