2018 FIBA Under-18 Women's European Championship
The 2018 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship was an international basketball competition that was held from 4 to 12 August 2018 in Udine, Italy. It was the 35th edition of the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship. 16 national teams from across Europe, composed of women aged 18 and under, competed in the tournament. Nyara Sabally
Nyara Sabally (born 26 February 2000) is a German professional basketball player for the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and USK Prague of the EuroLeague Women and the Czech women's basketball league. She also serves as assistant coach for Sacramento State. She played college basketball at Oregon. She represented Germany at the 2018 FIBA U18 Women's European Championship and won a gold medal. Playing career College On 7 November 2017, Sabally signed with Oregon. Leonie Fiebich (born 10 January 2000) is a German professional basketball player for Casademont Zaragoza of the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto. She was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round of the 2020 WNBA draft and has played for the German national basketball team. In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated 'MVP award', is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team.
