2018 Big Ten Conference Men's Soccer Season
The 2018 Big Ten Conference men's soccer season was the 28th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The regular season began on August 24, 2018, and concluded on October 28, 2018. The season culminated with the 2018 Big Ten Conference Men's Soccer Tournament to determine the conference's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament. Michigan entered the season as the defending regular season champions, while Wisconsin entered the season as the defending tournament champions. Indiana went on to win both the regular season and the tournament, winning all eight of their Big Ten Conference games. They defeated Michigan in the Big Ten Men's Soccer Championship Game. With the Big Ten title, Indiana earned the conference's automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Tournament, where Maryland, Michigan, and Michigan State joined as at-large berths. 2008 Maryland Terrapins Men's Soccer Team
The 2008 Maryland Terrapins men's soccer team represented the University of Maryland, College Park during the 2008 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. Hartford Hawks Men's Soccer
The Hartford Hawks are the NCAA Division I athletic teams of the University of Hartford, located in West Hartford, Connecticut. Hartford sponsors teams in eight men's and nine women's NCAA sanctioned sports. The men's and women's tennis teams were discontinued at the end of the 2016 season, and women's lacrosse was added. Overview On May 6, 2021, the University of Hartford Board of Regents voted to drop its athletic department to Division III. This plan will start with the university's formal application to the NCAA for reclassification in January 2022. Sasho Cirovski
Sasho Cirovski (born 14 October 1962) is a Macedonian-Canadian soccer coach of the University of Maryland. Born in Macedonia and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Cirovski led his University of Maryland team to the NCAA championship in 2005, 2008, and 2018. Early life and career Born in Macedonia, he grew up in Vratnica, a small village. Cirovski immigrated to Canada at the age of eight and became an outstanding all-around athlete in Ontario schools. A stand-out college soccer player for the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee he was selected the school's outstanding athlete upon his graduation in 1985. He earned a master's degree there in 1989. Todd Yeagley
Todd Yeagley is a retired U.S. soccer player who is the head men's soccer coach for the Indiana University Hoosiers. He played seven seasons in Major League Soccer with the Columbus Crew and one in the USISL with the Richmond Kickers. He is the son of legendary Indiana University soccer coach Jerry Yeagley. Player College Yeagley elected to play for the Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team under his father.
