Markham Pan Am Centre
The Markham Pan Am Centre is a multi-purpose community and aquatics centre located in the new downtown area of Markham, Ontario, Canada. The facility was designed to host the badminton, table tennis and water polo events for the 2015 Pan American Games, held in nearby Toronto in July and August, 2015. The venue also hosted the table tennis competition in the 2015 Parapan American Games. During the Pan Am and Parapan American Games the venue was known as the ''Atos Markham Pan Am / Parapan American Centre''. Freja Ravn
Freja Ravn Nielsen (born 17 February 2000) is a Danish badminton player who affiliates with KMB2010 club in Kastrup, specializing in doubles play. She started playing badminton at the age of 6 in Dragør badminton club, and entered the national team since 2016. As a junior player, she was the silver medalists at the 2018 European Junior Championships in the team and girls' doubles events. Nita Violina Marwah
Nita Violina Marwah (born 25 March 2001) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Exist Jakarta club. She was part of the national junior team that won the first Suhandinata Cup for Indonesia in 2019 BWF World Junior Championships. She also featured in the Indonesian women's winning team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships. Career 2023 In February, Marwah started the season with new partner Adnan Maulana playing in mixed doubles, and reach the semi-finals of Iran Fajr International. In March, Marwah and Maulana reached the finals of Thailand International. At the end of March, they competed in the European tour at the Spain Masters, but had to lose in the second round from Danish pair Mathias Thyrri and Amalie Magelund. Alyssa Tirtosentono (born 29 May 2000) is a Dutch badminton player. She won a silver medal at the 2018 European Junior Championships. Career Tirtosentono came from a badminton family, who have a Surinamese Javanese background. She started to playing badminton with her late grandfather, Press, who was a badminton coach and veteran champion, while her late father, Steven, was also a player and a huge badminton fan. At the age of 17, she started training in the NSF Sportcentrum Papendal, where she also used to live.
