Asaba City
Asaba is the capital city of Delta State, Nigeria. It is located at the western bank of the Niger River, in the Oshimili South Local Government Area. In winning the 3000 metres steeplechase at 2017 Prefontaine Classic, her time of 8:58.78 for was the second fastest of all time. She won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase race, becoming the first Ugandan woman ever to win an Olympic medal.
