2017–18 UCF Knights Women's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 UCF Knights women's basketball team will represent the University of Central Florida during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Knights compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the American Athletic Conference (The American). The Knights, in the program's 41st season of basketball, were led by second-year head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson, and play their home games at the CFE Arena on the university's main campus in Orlando, Florida. They finished the season 22–11, 12–4 in AAC play to finish in third place. They advanced to the semifinals of the American Athletic women's tournament where they lost to South Florida. They received an automatic bid to the Women's National Invitational Tournament where defeated Jacksonville in the first round before losing to Alabama in the second round. Katie Abrahamson-Henderson
Kay Noel "Katie" Abrahamson-Henderson (born December 23, 1966) is the current head coach of the University of Georgia's women's basketball team. Early years Abrahamson-Henderson attended Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, graduating in 1985. She was a basketball player, averaging 44 points per game and earning a place (1992) in the Washington Warriors Hall of Fame. She was named an All-American on both the Parade and USA Today teams, and ranked as one of the top five basketball players in the nation as a senior. She was also on the swim team, and considered attending college as a swimmer, but instead chose to focus on basketball. While in high school, she competed in the Iowa State Championships and placed first in the 50 yard freestyle, the 100 yard freestyle, and the freestyle relay. Fordham Rams Women's Basketball
The Fordham Rams women's basketball team represents Fordham University, located in the Bronx, New York, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference. History Fordham began play in 1970. They joined the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in 1981, playing in the conference until 1990 when they joined the Patriot League. They won the conference regular season and tournament titles in 1992 and repeated that sweep in 1994. They then joined the Atlantic-10 Conference in 1995 but struggled mightily until the arrival of Stephanie Gaitley as head coach. Chipola College

Albany Great Danes Women's Basketball
The Albany Great Danes women's basketball team is the basketball team that represents the University at Albany, State University of New York in Albany, New York. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at SEFCU Arena. History UAlbany Women's Basketball had little success on the court since it started play in 1964–65. Its greatest success took place in 1985–86 when it went 26–4 and made it the 3rd Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.
