2017–18 Saint Louis Billikens Men's Basketball Team
The 2017–18 Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball team represented Saint Louis University in the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Travis Ford in his second season at Saint Louis. The team played their home games at Chaifetz Arena as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They finished the season 17–16, 9–9 in A-10 play to finish in a four-way tie for fifth place. As the No. 6 seed in the A-10 tournament, they defeated George Washington in the second round before losing to Davidson in the quarterfinals. Travis Ford
Travis Ford (born December 29, 1969) is an American college basketball coach, who is currently the head coach of the Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball, Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball team. He was also previously the head coach at Campbellsville University, Eastern Kentucky Colonels basketball, Eastern Kentucky, UMass Minutemen basketball, Massachusetts, and Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball, Oklahoma State. Prior to that, he played at the University of Missouri and the University of Kentucky. Playing career While attending Madisonville North Hopkins High School, Ford's team lost to Marshall County, led by future Vanderbilt signees Aaron Beth and Dan Hall, in the state quarterfinals. Ezekual Samuel James Moore (born November 30, 1997) is a professional Trinidadian-American basketball player for the Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). He played college basketball for Saint Louis, Tulsa, and SIU Edwardsville. High school career Moore attended Riverview Gardens Senior High School in Saint Louis, Missouri where he played for his father, Gerard Moore. Hasahn French (born March 9, 1998) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Newcastle Eagles of the British Basketball League. He played college basketball for the Saint Louis Billikens. High school career French grew up in Middletown, New York and did not play organized basketball until eighth grade, instead playing running back on youth league football teams. After a five-inch growth spurt, he was noticed by Middletown High School coach Jim Kelly and joined the team in eighth grade, helping the team become the Class AA section 9 champions. Althoff Catholic High School
Althoff Catholic High School is a secondary education, Roman Catholic, private school, in Belleville, Illinois, in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville. History In 1960, Albert R. Zuroweste, the Bishop of Belleville, met with lay leaders of the Belleville area concerning conditions existing at the Cathedral High School for boys and the Academy of Notre Dame for girls. Since both schools were overcrowded, it was decided that new, co-ed facilities must be provided for students coming in from the area's Catholic grade schools. Jordan Goodwin (born October 23, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Saint Louis Billikens. High school career Goodwin attended Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, Illinois. As a junior, he averaged 19 points, nine rebounds and 3.2 assists, leading his team to a 32–2 record and the Class 3A state title. The South Florida Bulls men's basketball team represents the University of South Florida in NCAA Division I basketball competition, where they are currently a member of the American Athletic Conference. The Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball program is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program of Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.
