2017–18 Football Superleague Of Kosovo
The 2017–18 Football Superleague of Kosovo season, also known as the Vala Superleague of Kosovo for sponsorship reasons, is the 19th season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season began on 18 August 2017 and concluded on 20 May 2018. Trepça'89 are the defending champions from the previous season. A total of 12 teams are competing in the league: nine teams from the 2016–17 season and three promoted from the 2016–17 First League. Teams and stadiums Trepça and Hajvalia were relegated after finishing the previous season in eleventh and twelfth-place respectively. They were replaced by the champions and runners-up of the 2016–17 First League, Flamurtari and Vëllaznimi respectively. The Football Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, Superliga e Futbollit të Kosovës), also known as the ALBI MALL Superleague of Kosovo ( sq, ALBI MALL Superliga e Kosovës) for sponsorship reasons with Albi Mall, is the top level of the Kosovar football league system. The Superleague is organized by the Football Federation of Kosovo and the division currently has a 10-team format. The clubs play each other four times during the season for a 36-match schedule. Gjilan City Stadium
The Gjilan City Stadium ( sq, Stadiumi i Qytetit të Gjilanit) is a football stadium in Gjilan, Kosovo. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of SC Gjilani and FC Drita of the Football Superleague of Kosovo. The Bajram Aliu is a multi-use stadium in Skenderaj, Kosovo. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Drenica of the Kosovar Superliga. The Shahin Haxhiislami Stadium is a multi-use stadium located in Peć, Kosovo. It primarily hosts football matches and serves as the home ground for KF Besa Pejë, a team in the Kosovar Superliga.
