2017–18 EuroLeague Women
The 2017–18 EuroLeague Women was the 60th edition of the European women's club basketball championship organized by FIBA, and the 22nd edition since being rebranded as the EuroLeague Women. 2016–17 EuroLeague Women
The 2016–17 EuroLeague Women season is the 21st edition of EuroLeague Women under its current name. The season started on 26 October 2016. Teams Teams were confirmed by FIBA Europe on 22 June 2016. Draw *17 teams registered for EuroLeague Women 2016–17, resulting in 15 direct qualifiers, and one preliminary round to be played between CB Conquero and CCC Polkowice. Following the withdrawal of Spanish club CB Conquero, CCC Polkowice promoted to the regular season. *16 EuroLeague Women teams will be drawn directly into two Regular Season groups of eight teams each. Atomerőmű KSC Szekszárd, is a Hungarian women's basketball team, that is based in Szekszárd (Hungary), as that competes in the top flight of the Hungarian women's basketball leagues. History The club played first time at the Hungarian First class of women in 1975. The head coach of the self-educated team was Pál Buttás. The name of the team at that time was Szekszárd Vasas Sport Kör. The Basketball Sport Club Szekszárd was founded in February 1988, and since 1989 it has been playing its home games in the Szekszárd City Sports Hall. The 2016–17 Liga Femenina de Baloncesto is the 54th edition of the Spanish premier women's basketball championship. Regular season will start on 28 September 2016 and will finish on 1 April 2017. Playoffs will be played between 5 April and 3 May 2017. Competition format All the 14 teams play the regular season, consisted in a home and away round-robin.
