2017–18 Cypriot Cup
The 2017–18 Cypriot Cup was the 76th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 22 clubs were accepted to enter the competition. It began on 29 November 2019 with the first round and concluded on 16 May 2018 with the final held at GSP Stadium. The winner of the Cup was AEK Larnaca for second time and qualified for the 2018–19 Europa League second qualifying round. First round The first round draw took place on 6 November 2017 and the matches were played on 29 November and 6,13 December 2017. Second round The second round draw took place on 21 December 2017. Cypriot Cup
The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. It is the second most important competition for Cypriot club teams after Cypriot Championship. Only the Cypriot First Division and the second division teams are participating in the competition. The sponsor of the competition since 1962 is Coca-Cola and thus officially known as Cyprus Coca-Cola Cup. History The Cypriot Cup started in the 1934–35 season, when the Cyprus Football Association was founded. Larnaca
Larnaca ( el, Λάρνακα ; tr, Larnaka) is a city on the south east coast of Cyprus and the capital of the district of the same name. GSZ Stadium
GSZ Stadium or Gymnastic Club Zenon Stadium (; Γ.Σ.Ζ., ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus. Usually it is referred to as the 'neo GSZ Stadium' to distinguish it from the old GSZ Stadium, which it replaced. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of AEK Larnaca FC until 2016. The stadium holds 13,032 people. Its owner is the Gymnastic Club Zeno which took its name from the native philosopher of Larnaca Zeno of Citium. Before the merge of Pezoporikos and EPA Larnaca into the new football club AEK Larnaca FC, it was also the home of those two clubs. Andreas Avraam ( el, Ανδρέας Αβραάμ; born 6 June 1987) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays as a left back. Omar Reiss Rowe (born 30 October 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Hayes & Yeading United. Club career Rowe was born in Hackney, London, and spent the first part of his youth development at West Ham United, but moved to Southampton at under-16 level. Sekou Cissé (born 23 May 1985) is an Ivorian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker.
