2017–18 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2017–18 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season was the 42nd season of Atlantic 10 Conference basketball. The season began with practices in October 2017, followed by the start of the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. League play began in late December and ended on March 3, 2018. With a win over La Salle on February 20, 2018, Rhode Island clinched at least a share of the A-10 regular season championship, their first title since 1981. Three days later, the Rams clinched an outright A-10 title for the first time in school history. The 2018 A-10 tournament was held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. from March 7 through 11, 2018. Davidson defeated Rhode Island in the championship game to win the tournament and receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. 2018 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2018 Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic 10 Conference's 2017–18 season. It was held March 7 through March 11, 2018 at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. John Henry Jones Jr. (born March 30, 1961) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the Texas Southern Tigers basketball, Texas Southern Tigers basketball team. VCU Rams Men's Basketball
The VCU Rams men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Virginia Commonwealth University. The Rams joined the Atlantic 10 Conference in the 2012–13 season after previously competing in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). Matt McCall (basketball)
Matthew Wayne McCall (born December 12, 1981) is an American college basketball coach. He was the head men's basketball coach at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass). Coaching career McCall was a student manager at the University of Florida during the 2002–03 season. He was named head manager the following year. After graduating, he continued working with the program, and in 2006 he was named director of basketball operations. In 2008, he was hired as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic. The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team represents the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in NCAA Division I men's competition. On March 30, 2022, Dan Earl was hired as the new head coach. Derek Kellogg
Derek William Kellogg (born June 20, 1973) is an American college basketball coach who currently serves as an assistant coach for Creighton. Kellogg previously served as head coach of the Massachusetts Minutemen, his alma mater, being named to the position on April 23, 2008, replacing Travis Ford, who left to take the head coaching job at Oklahoma State University. He was removed from the position on March 9, 2017. After being let go by the Minutemen, he was named head coach of the LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds, which represented the school's Brooklyn campus. Maurice Joseph (born August 26, 1985) is a former Canadian basketball player and coach, currently an assistant coach at Butler. He is the former head coach of the George Washington University Colonials men's basketball team. Playing career After a standout prep career at Champlain-St. Lambert in his native Montreal, Joseph committed to play basketball at Michigan State under Tom Izzo. Joseph appeared in 52 games and was a part of two NCAA Tournament squads for the Spartans over a two-year period, averaging 3.8 points per game before transferring to Vermont, closer to his Montreal home. Mike Lonergan
Michael Thomas Lonergan (born January 28, 1966) is the former head coach of the George Washington University Colonials men's basketball team. He replaced Karl Hobbs. George Washington Colonials Men's Basketball
The George Washington Revolutionaries men's basketball team represents George Washington University in Washington, D.C. They play their home games in the Charles E.
