2017–18 Albanian Cup
2017–18 Albanian Cup () was the sixty-sixth season of Albania's annual cup competition. Tirana are the defending champions. Skënderbeu won the title for the first time in their history. Ties are played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregate score is tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advances. If the number of away goals is equal in both games, the match is decided by extra time and a penalty shoot-out, if necessary. Preliminary round In order to reduce the number of participating teams for the first round to 32, a preliminary tournament is played. In contrast to the main tournament, the preliminary tournament is held as a single-leg knock-out competition. Klubi i Futbollit Besa is a professional Albanian football club based in Kavajë. It is currently competing in Kategoria e Parë, the 2nd tier of Albanian football. Flamurtari FC
Flamurtari FC is a professional football club based in Vlorë, Albania. The club plays in the Kategoria e Parë, which is the second tier of football in the country. Founded in 1923, the club is one of the oldest in Albania, and it is also one of the most successful clubs, having won one Albanian Superliga title in 1991 four Albanian Cups and two Albanian Supercups. KS Kastrioti, also known as Kastrioti Krujë, is an Albanian football club based in the city of Krujë. The club's home ground is the Kastrioti Stadium which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators and they currently compete in the Kategoria Superiore. History Early history The club was founded in 1926 as the city of Krujë's main sports club. During a brief spell in 1949, the club was dissolved, but was quickly re-established under the name of the city, Krujë. KF Sopoti is an Albanian sports club based in Librazhd. The club currently competes in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in Albania. History They were founded in 1948 under the name ''KS Albania Tabak Librazhd'', and they play their home games at the Sopoti Stadium. The club is named after the nearby Sopot Mountain. They spent the 1992/93, 1993/94, 1995/96 and 1996/97 seasons in the ''Kategoria Superiore''. KF Tërbuni, also known as Tërbuni Pukë, is an Albanian Association football, football club based in the city of Pukë. The club's home ground is the Ismail Xhemali Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Early history The club was founded in 1936 but were not active until the 1940s. They first competed in a national championship in 1949, where they took part in the Albanian First Division, second tier championship. KF Luftëtari (), also known as Luftëtari FC or simply Luftëtari was an Albanian football club based in Gjirokastër, southern Albania.
