2017–18 A-1 League
The 2017–18 HT Premijer liga was the 27th season of the HT Premijer liga, the highest professional basketball league in Croatia. It started on 6 October 2017 and finished on 3 June 2018. Cedevita retained the title and achieved their fifth league overall. Format As in the previous season, all participants in A-1 League including teams that play ABA League The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Mace ... joined the regular season. It was played with a double round-robin format where the eight first qualified teams joined the playoffs while the last qualified one was relegated. The 2016–17 A-1 League ( hr, A-1 liga 2016./17.) was the 26th season of the A-1 League, the highest professional basketball league in Croatia. The season started on 5 October 2016 and finished on 1 June 2017. Cedevita won its fourth national championship after defeating Cibona in the playoffs final. Basketball

Jure Zdovc
Jurij "Jure" Zdovc (born 13 December 1966) is a Slovenian former professional basketball player and coach Zdovc Returning to Helm of National Team.] As a player, he was a 1.98 m (6'6") tall point guard, who began his professional playing career with the Yugoslav Second Division club Smelt Olimpija. During his playing career, he was a two-time member of the FIBA European Selection, in the years 1990 and 1991, and a FIBA EuroStar selection, in 1996. He also represented both the senior Yugoslav national team, and the senior Slovenian national team. He was inducted into the Slovenian Athletes Hall of Fame in 2015. As a basketball coach, Zdovc received the EuroCup Coach of the Year award in 2012, while he was the head coach of the Russian club Spartak Saint Petersburg. Sinj
Sinj (; it, Signo; german: Zein) is a town in the continental part of Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. The town itself has a population of 11,478 and the population of the administrative municipality, which includes surrounding villages, is 24,826 (2011). Geography Sinj is located in the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland, the area known as ''Cetinska krajina'', a group of settlements situated on a fertile karstic field of Sinjsko polje through which the river Cetina passes. Košarkaški klub Kvarner 2010 ( en, Kvarner 2010 Basketball Club) is a professional basketball club based in Rijeka, Croatia. It competes in the A-2 Hrvatska Liga, the second highest basketball league in Croatia. History The club was founded in 2010 by a merger of two clubs from Rijeka, KK Torpedo and KK Jadran.
