The men's middleweight is a competition featured at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships, and was held at the Taekwondowon in Muju County, South Korea on June 28 and June 29. Middleweights were limited to a maximum of 87 kilograms in body mass. Vladyslav Bondar ( uk, Владислав Миколайович Бондар; born 24 March 2000) is a professional Ukrainian football midfielder who plays for Ukrainian club Kremin Kremenchuk and its junior team Kremin-2 Kremenchuk. Ícaro Miguel Martins Soares (born April 29, 1995) is a Brazilian taekwondo athlete who won a silver medal at the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships on the men's heavyweights. He represented Brazil at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Career Icaro suffered a domestic accident at the age of six, when he lost 90% of the vision in his right eye.
