2017 Western Michigan Broncos Men's Soccer Team
The 2017 Western Michigan Broncos men's soccer team represented Western Michigan University during the 2017 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It was the 47th season of the university fielding a program. It was the program's fifth season with Chad Wiseman as head coach. The Broncos played their home matches at WMU Soccer Complex. The 2017 season has been, by far, the most successful season in program history. The program won their first conference regular season title in their 47-year history, and posted the most victories in program history. The Broncos achieved their first ever United Soccer Coaches national ranking since 2003 and climbed into the Top 10 for the first time in their program's history. The team beat three ranked opponents during the season: Butler, Michigan and Akron. WMU Soccer Complex
The Western Michigan University Soccer Complex is a soccer-specific stadium located in Kalamazoo, Michigan on the campus of Western Michigan University. Originally known as Lee Baker Field, the complex is adjacent to WMU's Business, Technology & Research Park and the Engineering College campus, and is home to both the Western Michigan Broncos Western Michigan Broncos men's soccer, men's and Western Michigan Broncos women's soccer, women's soccer teams. The stands seat about 500, and there is standing room along the fencelines, particularly on the north and west sides. The stadium opened in 2005. Merlo Field at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex is a 4,892-capacity soccer-specific stadium in Portland, Oregon on the campus of the University of Portland where it serves as home to the school's soccer teams. Retriever Soccer Park
The Retriever Soccer Park is one of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County's athletic fields. It is located in the southeastern section of the campus next to the UMBC Stadium, the Department of Facilities Management, and bordered by Shelbourne Road in Arbutus, Maryland. The UMBC Retrievers men's soccer team represents the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college soccer competition.
