2017 Tour De Hongrie
The 2017 Tour de Hongrie was a six-day cycling stage race that took place in Hungary in June and July 2017. The race was the 38th edition of the Tour de Hongrie, and was rated as a 2.2 event as part of the 2017 UCI Europe Tour. The race included 5 stages plus the prologue, starting in Szombathely on 27 June and finishing on 2 July in Budapest. The race was won by Colombia's Daniel Jaramillo (), after winning the race's penultimate stage in Miskolc. Jaramillo finished two seconds clear of top young and Hungarian rider Barnabás Peák, riding for the Kontent–DKSI Cycling Team, while the podium was completed by 's Tadej Pogačar from Slovenia. In the race's other classifications, Scott Sunderland () won the points classification after two stage victories, 's Amanuel Gebrezgabihier was the winner of the mountains classification, while his squad won the teams classification. 2017 UCI Europe Tour
The 2017 UCI Europe Tour was the thirteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2017 season began on 26 January 2017 with the Vuelta a Mallorca, Trofeo Santanyí-Ses Salines-Campos and ended on 17 October 2017 with the Nationale Sluitingsprijs. Belgium, Belgian rider Baptiste Planckaert (), who scored 1,605 points in the 2016 UCI Europe Tour, 2016 edition, was the defending champion of the UCI Europe Tour. Nacer Bouhanni () won the overall standings for the second time in three years; won the team classification, while France won both the overall nations' title and the under-23 equivalent. Race structure Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. Cegléd (; german: Zieglet) is a city in Pest County, Pest county, Hungary, approximately southeast of the Hungarian capital, Budapest. Name The name of the town is of disputed origin. The name may be derived from the word "szeglet" (meaning "corner") due to its being a junction point of several important routes, while it may also have been derived from a Noun, proper name, i. e. from the name of a man called "Cegléd". The most likely explanation derives the name from the noun "cigle" or "cegle", the old Hungarian name of a rivercoast willow. History Its area has been inhabited since the Copper Age. Paks
Paks is a small town in Tolna county, in the south of Hungary, on the right bank of the Danube River, 100 km south of Budapest. Paks as a former agricultural settlement is now the home of the only Hungarian nuclear power plant, which provides about 40% of the country's electricity consumption. History The settlement was already inhabited in ancient times. It has played a role in the Ottoman Empire times and during Rákóczi's War of Independence. In the Budapest offensive in the final stages of the Second World War, Soviet troops occupied the town at great cost, followed by four decades of communist rule. Siófok
Siófok (; german: Fock; la, Fuk) is a town in Somogy County, Hungary on the southern bank of Lake Balaton. It is the second largest municipality in Somogy County and the seat of Siófok District.
