2017 IRFU Women's Interprovincial Series
The 2017 IRFU Women's Interprovincial Series was won by Munster who clinched the title following an 11–5 win over Leinster on the final day of the competition. Munster and Leinster both finished the competition with two wins and ten points each. Munster were subsequently declared champions on points difference. Munster were coached by Laura Guest and captained by Siobhan Fleming. Chloe Pearse (born 3 March 1994) is an Irish rugby player from Limerick. She plays for UL Bohemians, Munster Rugby and the Ireland women's national rugby union team. Belfast Harlequins
Belfast Harlequins is a multi-sports club located off the Malone Road in south Belfast, Northern Ireland. The club name provides the overall umbrella for rugby union, men's and ladies' hockey, and squash. The club is associated on and off the field with Methodist College Belfast (MCB). Background of the club Belfast Harlequins was formed in 1999 with the merger of Collegians, North of Ireland Cricket Club and North of Ireland Football Club. The former clubs were three of the oldest and most distinguished clubs in Ireland. Thomond Park
Thomond Park is a stadium in Limerick in the Irish province of Munster. The stadium is owned by the Irish Rugby Football Union and has Munster Rugby, Shannon RFC and UL Bohemian RFC as tenants. Limerick FC played home games in Thomond Park from 2013 to 2015 in the League of Ireland while the Markets Field was being redeveloped. Gillian Bourke
Gillian Bourke (born 28 August 1984) is a female rugby union player. She represented at the 2010 and 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup, where she was voted the Number 2 position in the WRWC Team of the Tournament. She has 51 caps for Ireland, playing from 2008 to 2015, winning the Six Nations Grand Slam in 2013, and the Six Nations Championship in 2015. She was also invited to play with the legendary Barbarians team in February 2018 against the British Army, and again in April 2019 against the USA Women's National team in Denver, Colorado. Donnybrook Stadium
Donnybrook Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as Energia Park, is a rugby union stadium in Donnybrook, Dublin 4, Ireland. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000, including a 2,500 seat covered grandstand which was completed in early 2008. Garryowen Football Club (Irish: ''Cumann Rugbaí Gharraí Eoin''), usually referred to as Garryowen, is a rugby union club from Limerick, Ireland. Dromore () is a small market town and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies within the local government district of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon. Munster Rugby ( ga, Rugbaí Mumhan) is one of the four professional provincial rugby teams from the island of Ireland.
