2017 Edmonton Eskimos Season
The Edmonton Eskimos season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 69th overall. The Eskimos qualified for the playoffs for the fourth straight year, but lost the West Final to the Calgary Stampeders. This is the second season under head coach Jason Maas and the first season under new general manager, Brock Sunderland. The team's former general manager, Ed Hervey, was fired on April 7, 2017. Canadian Football League West Division
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division (CFL), East Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the West Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The five teams in the West Division are the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Elks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Justin Anthony Senior (born July 8, 1994) is a Canadian-born former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Waterloo Warriors Football
The Waterloo Warriors football team represents the University of Waterloo in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. The Warriors U Sports football program has been in operation since 1957, winning two Yates Cup conference championships in 1997 and 1999. Currently, they are one of six teams to have never appeared in a Vanier Cup game and the longest tenured program in the OUA to have never qualified for the national championship game. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen.
