2017 Pittsburgh Panthers Men's Soccer Team
Pittsburgh Panthers men's soccer is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate men's soccer (association football) team of the University of Pittsburgh, often referred to as "Pitt", located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pitt men's soccer competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays their home games at Ambrose Urbanic Field in the university's Petersen Sports Complex. Pitt soccer players have had eight selections as All-Americans and multiple former Panthers have gone on to play professionally. Elon Phoenix Men's Soccer
The Elon University Phoenix Men's Soccer team was founded in 1972 as a member of the NAIA, the team moved to NCAA Division II in 1989 and finally to NCAA Division I in 1999. The program is currently under the direction of head coach Marc Reeves. Darren Powell led the Phoenix to a .500 or better record in each of his 5 seasons at the helm. Elon Soccer won its first conference championship in 2008, the Southern Conference regular season. The Appalachian State Mountaineers men's soccer team was an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Appalachian State University. The team was a member of the Sun Belt Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Syracuse Orange is the NCAA college soccer team for Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. They are a Division I team in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Syracuse fielded its first varsity soccer team in 1920. The program rose to national prominence early in its history, being recognized by the Intercollegiate Soccer Football Association as national champions for 1936.
