Colorado Rapids
The Colorado Rapids are an American professional soccer club based in the Denver metropolitan area. The Rapids compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Western Conference. Founded in 1995, as part of the Anschutz Corporation, later to be a founding sports franchise of the global sports & entertainment juggernaut AEG, the club is a founding member of MLS, playing their first season in 1996. The Rapids are owned by the Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, also owners of the Denver Nuggets of NBA, Colorado Avalanche of NHL, and other sports teams outside of the state of Colorado. Colorado won the MLS Cup in 2010, their second MLS Cup appearance. The first appearance was in 1997, losing to D.C. United. Kortne Ford
Kortne Thompson-Ford (born January 26, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer. Early life Kortne Ford spent his early life in Olathe, Kansas where he made the Kansas City Wizards academy team. In 2008, he moved with his mother to Colorado at the age of 12. Career College Ford played three years of college soccer at the University of Denver between 2014 and 2016. In his three seasons at the University of Denver, Ford was a two-time All-Summit League First Team selection and was a Top Drawer Soccer Second Team All-America in 2016. Mohammed Saeid
Mohammed Khalid Saeid (born 24 December 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Superettan club Trelleborg. Born in Sweden, he represents the Eritrea national team. Career Saeid was spotted at age eleven by Fulham while playing in a tournament with his team BK Forward. The English club brought him over to play with their youth team but ended up not signing him. Instead scouts from West Bromwich Albion who had watched him play for Fulham offered him a youth contract. In 2009, he returned to his old Swedish third tier club BK Forward. Sacramento Republic FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California, that plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship, the second level in US soccer. Career Youth and college Mike da Fonte played his youth soccer with JBS FC a soccer club that was based out of Westchester County, New York. In the majority of his career, Gordon was mostly relied upon to make goals in games being substituted on the field.
